                                  Aloha in math time my class and I were learning about decimals.A decimal is a point that is placed between two numbers.Like if your answer was 1.1 you would call it one point one not eleven.I enjoyed figuring out the answers and making the tens into a hole.The challenging bite was when our teacher gave us hundreds to do.Aloha out.

Last Week by our school hall there was a huge pile of rubbish dumped on the floor.our question was how were we feeling when we saw that big mess.So we had to use yellow paper and cut it into a circle.And design a how we felt on the yellow circle.I felt a bit sad.Others were feeling confused,disappointed,sick,hart brooked and even puzzled.

My Enviro centre blog

On Tuesday 30th July Room 14 and 12 walked all the way to the Gisborne library.One of the librarians gave us a little tour around the library.We got to bring our own library card and issue some books.I think it's really good to have a new library because you get better at reading if you go to the library.And then we walked to the Enviro centre.I learnt that you have to keep worms in a mostiesed place or ways the worms will get crunchy.And the thing that was challenging was trying to figure out a puzzle about reusing.And I enjoyed learning something new and working with people.

WALT make predictions about what the story might be about

Jump!!!Keywords:jumpillustrations:A elevator,city.I predict that the setting is in a city..I predict the book might be about a family having fun for the hole day and trying new things..I predict that the main characters are the kids and the uncle..I predict that the main events will be on something tall.
After reading the story:.My predictions were right because in the book the kids and the uncle were in a city,they were going bungee jumping and that's something fun,the main characters Were the two kids and there uncle,and the main events took place on something tall.

In reading time I was making a poster about predicting.I was predicting about the story JUMP!!!.My class and I got given a sheet of things we need to do well making the doc such as [predictit where is the story was taking place,what the book might be about,what you think the main events are and who are the main characters?The next step was to write if you predictions were write or wrong.

Yay! it's finally 2019 Iv'e been waiting for this time to come.Lots of chromebooks and being a Year 6 but yes things are just going to get harder and harder like math and whats next? Are we going to learn about the USA? But any way it feels like I'm still a Year 5,have the wonderful Mrs Poole and the same best friends from last year.                                                                      And yes a welcome to Mr Adams.In one more week back into to business,like I mean doing reading,writing,spelling and more.Not surprised.But some of the things that I'm looking forward to do is EOTC and Breakouts.

So yeah hopefully this year goes great!
